Mounts and ravens have been a part of the Assassin’s Creed franchise for quite a while now, and they are present in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as well. While mounts help travel faster on the ground, ravens are quite helpful in scanning the area for enemies and other collectibles.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla allows you to mount any horse you find in the open-world. Apart from that, you will also be getting your own mounts in the game, which you can call at any point when you are traversing the game’s vast open world.

To buy and change mounts, you first need to wait until you have started your Settlement after reaching England in the Settling Down mission. You will see that a person named Rowan will come to your Settlement, and you must build a stable for him in your Settlement. Building requires resources that can be obtained by doing monastery raids.

Once you have built the Stable, simply go and talk to Rowan and you will get the options, to buy and train your mounts and raven. After interacting with Rowan, click on the Let me see your stock option to open the buy menu. This is where you can buy mounts and equip/unequip them. Simply click on one of the mounts you own to equip them. You can purchase new mounts from the section just below it.

Press the E key (RB/R1 on the controller) to check out the Aviary where you can buy and change your Ravens. If you want to train your mounts, select the second dialogue option that says I want to train my mount. Here you can increase your mount’s stamina, health and even teach him how to swim! This can be quite useful in the later parts of the game, where a lot of traveling is required.
