It isn’t often when trainers can pick up a Ralts before challenging the first Gym. The only other time Ralts was an early encounter was in Generation III, where it had an incredibly low spawn rate before Petalburg Town. Trainers will be able to catch Ralts extremely early on in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, though.
Where to find Ralts in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Ralts can be found even before reaching Uva Academy. To find one, trainers will want to search in the grass in front of Los Platos, which can be seen after traveling to the Lighthouse. On the way to Los Platos, hug the left mountain while walking. Eventually, trainers might be able to find several Pokémon surrounding a Ralts. This will be a bit hard to see with the surrounding Pokémon, so it’s important to get close to that area and investigate.
How to evolve Ralts in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
In terms of availability, Ralts will only be available in South Province, Area One. Kirlia, Ralts’ evolution, can be found in later game areas (specifically Cortondo, Dalizapa Passage, or East Province, Area Two). Be sure to check the gender of Ralts whenever it’s caught. Only male Ralts can evolve into Gallade with a Dawn Stone. Otherwise, Ralts will evolve into Kirlia at level 20 and Gardevoir at level 30.
