Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduce players to many fun and interesting Pokémon throughout the Paldea region. You can even track down aerial Pokémon like Wattrel. This Pokémon is not rare, so you will probably spot plenty of them flying around. Even so, our guide will show you the right spots to look so you can find and catch Wattrel in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Find and Catch Wattrel in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Wattrel is an innocent-looking bird Pokémon that is a dual Electric/Flying-type. So, if you notice some birds flying around, they’re probably Wattrel. It’s not uncommon to see more than one around an area. Typically, Wattrel flies over the sea. However, they do land from time to time. When they do, this is perhaps the best chance to try and capture one.

If you want to catch Wattrel in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, check out these areas:

  • Asado Desert
  • Porto Marinada
  • East Paldean Sea
  • South Paldean Sea
  • West Paldean Sea
  • East Province (Areas Two and Three)
  • South Province (Areas One, Four, Five, Six)

As you can tell, there are numerous chances to catch a Wattrel in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Remember, though, that you should check out the area near the water in the Asado Desert and the coastline at the various spots in the Paldean Sea. These are where Wattrel typically roams.

Where to Find & Catch Shroodle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Wattrel has some good stats for a Pokémon you can catch not far into playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Check out their base stats below:

  • HP: 40
  • Attack: 40
  • Defense: 35
  • Special Attack: 55
  • Special Defense: 40
  • Speed: 70

These are comfortable enough, and their mix of moves being a dual-type comes in handy.

Wattrel does evolve into another Electric/Flying-type Pokémon known as Kilowattrel, though. This evolution has far greater speed than the initial species while also boasting a powerful Special Attack stat. You can evolve Wattrel once you reach Level 25 with them. Other than that, there are no other special conditions needed.

So, if you’re ever hanging around the coast in certain areas, keep an eye out for some happy birds. It is probably a Wattrel hanging around just waiting for you to catch them in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
