Strategy is the behavior setting that controls the way your party members will behave in combat. If you want to change strategy, you will need to visit the strategy tab inside the main menu hub.
Once inside the strategy tab, you can select from nine different settings, each with unique functions to change your party strategy. Each of them will affect the following things your party members can do in combat.
- How they perform in combat.How far they try to stay away from enemies.How aggressive they are.CP use and health item use.If they will engage bosses in combat.
To change a strategy, click on one of the slots on the left of your screen numbered one through four. These are your strategy slots, and changing a strategy in one of these slots will change how your party member acts in combat according to the active strategy setting.
To change your active strategy setting, click or press Y, circle, or F. That said, here’s what all four Strategy settings do in Tales of Arise.
