In Warframe, Earth has a day and night cycle caused by its spinning axis. This cycle is important for many reasons, such as farming materials that only pop up at certain times of the cycle. So you will want to become familiar with the day-night cycle pretty early on in your Warframe journey. Here is how you can check the Earth Day and Night Cycle in Warframe.
How to check Earth and other World Cycles in Warframe
Unfortunately, there is no in-game way of knowing whether it is day or night on Earth without actually visiting the planet. Luckily, there are a few other resources that players can use to check this information. The easiest and most popular way to keep an eye on Earth’s day-night cycle is by utilizing the Warframe Companion app that is available on iOS and Android. Along with some other helpful information about the game, this app will give you a countdown for day and night switches in multiple locations. Below is how to find Earth’s day and night cycle in the companion app.
- Once inside the app, swipe the screen to the right to open the menu.Within the menu select Activities. Finally, select World Cycles to see all of the worlds that have cycles and an exact countdown timer for when it will be switching from day to night or night to day.
As a rule of thumb, Earth will switch from day to night every four hours. If you would rather use your computer to find out this information, you can visit the helpful website known as Warframe Hub, where you can find information on the World Cycles on the home page in the top left corner. This section of the website as well as the World Cycle section of the app will give you real-time cycle countdowns for Earth, Plains of Eidolon, Orb Vallis, and Cambion Drift.
It’s unfortunate that all of this information isn’t easily located within the game, but it doesn’t hurt to become familiar with these resources. Throughout your journey, you will be consulting them quite a bit to track other activities and compare Warframes.
