Timewalking is alive and well in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Currently, the old dungeon content is focused on Wrath of the Lich King, and is tied to a quest named A Frozen Path Through Time. This weekly quest requires a few specific steps to start and complete, so we’ll tell you how to get everything you deserve for finishing all the dungeons.
Begin Timewalking
To start your trip back in time, you’ll find the Timewalking event quest for A Frozen Path Through Time in the adventure journal. When you go into your Looking for Group dungeon finder, you can choose from a separate group of dungeons, labeled “Random Timewalking Dungeon.” This is what you need to enter a dungeon with a scaled-down level and earn loot that matches your current level. A Frozen Path Through Time requires you to complete a total of five dungeons from Wrath of the Lich King, so strap on your nostalgia goggles and prepare to reacquaint yourself with places like The Nexus and Utgarde Keep.
Finishing A Frozen Path Through Time
Although you can take the badges you earn through Timewalking dungeons to Auzin in Dalaran, turning in A Frozen Path Through Time is in a different location. You’ll need to speak to Caretaker Kah-Toll, located in the Ring of Fates inside Oribos. He’ll be in the Hall of Holding in the northeast area of the Ring. If you prefer, you could also pick up the quest to start Timewalking from him, but using the adventure guide is more convenient if you’ve been questing elsewhere. Once you turn in the quest, you’ll receive a Cache of Nathrian Treasures, which will give you a piece of gear you would also get from a Normal raid in Castle Nathria.
