“Friends Aren’t Food” is a Friendship Quest with Scar in Disney Dreamlight Valley that involves players making a coat to impress the villainous lion. To unlock this quest, players must first progress through Remy the rat chef’s storyline and attain Friendship Level 2 with Scar. Completing “Friends Aren’t Food” will reward participants with 260 Friendship XP, which is not much compared to most late-game Friendship Quests. Nevertheless, it is a decent amount that should grant another level with Scar, enabling players to further increase the Villager’s working Skill and his unique reward path in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Completing Friends Aren’t Food Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the first step of the “Friends Aren’t Food” Friendship Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must gather the following resources: Fiber ×10, Fabric ×4, Citrine ×2, and Iron Ingot ×1. After collecting these materials, players must deliver them to Mother Gothel to receive the Brown Faux-Fur-Trimmed Jacket.
How to complete Sugar Rush in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The first material, Fiber, is crafted from Seaweed, a resource acquired from fishing in non-fishing node spots on Dazzle Beach. Next is Fabric, a cloth material refined from Cotton. According to YouTuber Quick Tips, Cotton Seeds can be acquired from Goofy’s stall in the Sunlit Plateau. The third resource is a Gem called Citrine, which can be mined from mineral nodes located in the Sunlit Plateau and Glade of Trust. Finally, Iron Ingots are made using Iron Ore and Coal. Iron Ore is a common drop from mineral nodes, and Coal can be dug up from dirt mounds found across the Valley.
After receiving the Brown Faux-Fur-Trimmed Jacket from Mother Gothel, put the jacket on and speak with Scar. The next step for completing “Friends Aren’t Food” in Disney Dreamlight Valley is preparing some dinner for Scar with Remy. Below are the two dishes that players must cook, including their ingredients:
- Tekka Maki: Tuna, Soya, Seaweed, and Rice
- Sake Maki: Salmon, Rice, and Seaweed
Be sure not to confuse Sake Maki with Sake Sushi, two similar-sounding recipes. After cooking these two meals, players must accompany Remy as he delivers the two dishes to Scar. After Scar receives the food, the “Friends Aren’t Food” Friendship Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley will be complete.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
