In Winter Ember, you play Arthur Artorias on a quest to seek vengeance for the murder of his family. Along the way, you will encounter various side quests that can earn you some extra gold or items. One of these is the A Call for Help quest. This may leave you wondering how to complete the A Call for Help quest in Winter Ember.

As you move about South Arangal, you may hear a woman scream for help. Investigating this reveals that she was robbed. She asks you to track down the thief whom she wounded. There is a blood trail and a point marked on your map. Use these two indicators to find the thief.

On the way, you will encounter a few guards. You can either sneak and avoid them or take them out (lethally or non-lethally). Unfortunately, when you arrive where the thief is hiding, he throws a wrench into your plans, claiming the necklace is his.

Should you take the necklace or let Benjamin keep it in Winter Emblem?

When you track down the thief, he reveals that the necklace was actually stolen from him. You then choose whether to take the necklace or let Benjamin, the thief, keep it. We recommend taking the necklace because you will get a skill token if you give it to the woman.

Keep in mind that Benjamin swears he will not forget this, which foreshadows his reappearance in the future. Ultimately it is up to you whether to take the necklace or not, but skill tokens are valuable commodities in Winter Ember.
