“Dilbo’s Journey” is a quest in Goat Simulator 3 that tasks Pilgor with finding the Purity Ring and casting it into the fiery chasm of Mount Inferno. Needless to say, most fans will quickly understand the easter egg reference of Bilbo from the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings franchise regarding how The One Ring was supposed to be cast into the inferno of Mount Doom. Of course, “Dilbo’s Journey” does not require Pilgor to travel across Middle-earth to reach the fiery volcano, but Goat Simulator 3 players might need help to complete this quest if they do not know where they should go.
Completing Dilbo’s Journey Quest in Goat Simulator 3
To get started on “Dilbo’s Journey” in Goat Simulator 3, players must first head to Dilbo’s home, which can be found on a hill between Redneck Haven and Yakedo Hot Springs. While the building does not appear on the in-game map, players will encounter a small stone trail leading to the Hobbit house by the road southwest of the springs.
How to Unlock the Angry Goat Skin in Goat Simulator 3
After arriving at the Hobbit home of Dilbo in Goat Simulator 3, players can initiate the “Dilbo’s Journey” quest by picking up the Purity Ring sitting to the right of the fireplace. Instead of being placed into one’s inventory, the ring will be used as a piece of Gear, floating above Pilgor’s head. Players can activate the Purity Ring by pressing the R1 button on their gamepad to turn invisible, but this mechanic is not required to complete the quest. After picking up the ring, open the in-game map and inspect the area within Mornwood Falls.
According to YouTuber Trophy Tom, the volcano players should be looking for during this quest in Goat Simulator 3 is displayed by an orange spot on the Mornwood Falls map. This location can be found directly south of Windtop, where players can fast travel to a nearby Goat Tower. After arrival, descend the mountain to the pool of lava below and enter the black entrance on the left side of the molten pond. Once inside, leap into the fiery chasm while wearing the ring to complete “Dilbo’s Journey.”
