In Watatsumi Island, players can encounter various remnants of the divine—particularly through the shrines that live all over Inazuma. In Bourou Village south of Watatsumi Island, you’ll encounter an old lady named Komaki who’ll let you in on one of the village’s old divining rituals—one that’s on the verge of fading with the passage of time.

The Divine Plants of the Depths is a World Quest that doesn’t automatically appear on the Quest menu. Start by heading to Bourou Village to speak with Komaki. Her exact location is marked on the map below.

She’ll tell you about the Deep Sea Spiritherbs that have been carefully grown on the island for generations. These herbs emanate a special light that allows priestesses to determine whether one’s wishes can be realized. But to grow them, a special kind of water from the island’s Offering Pool is required. Komaki will ask you to fetch some from Mouun Shrine.

The quest marker will show you the exact location of the water source, where you’ll find an Investigation spot. Simply interact with it to pick up the Water Welling With “Wishes.”

Head back to Komaki in Bourou Village within two minutes, or the power of the wishes in the water will dissipate. Keep in mind that you can’t use Teleport Waypoints or the challenge will fail, and you’ll have to repeat from Mouun Shrine. That said, you can use Phase Gates, run, jump, and Glide to make it to Bourou Village in time.

Speak with Komaki to deliver the water, which unfortunately isn’t enough to bring out the radiance of the Spiritherbs. She’ll ask you to pick up water from a cave rich in Hydro from the deep sea.

Head to the northeast of Watatsumi Island to the location of the Hydro Hypostasis (near the Suigetsu Pool). You don’t have to defeat it—simply search for Investigation spots in the area. Head to the waterfall behind the boss, where you’ll find the correct Investigation spot containing the Clear Water.

Deliver the Clear Water to Komaki. This time, you can use Teleport Waypoints and aren’t limited to a two-minute timeframe. Doing so will complete the Divine Plant of the Depths World Quest, which will open the Komaki’s Spiritherb Fortune daily questline.
