How to Complete the Hands of Challenge in Destiny 2
The hands-Off challenge is one of the most interesting challenges you will face in Destiny 2 that requires a good strategy to complete it. The first thing you have to know about this challenge is that a player cannot kill the same Light-Eater Ogre and Light-Eater Knight more than one time while the fight occurs.
To understand it better, if a player were to defeat the R1 Ogre and Knight, they cannot slay any more on the R1 side until the Oryx is defeated. The best strategy to complete this challenge requires 6 players.
Four of the players should be placed each on R1, R2, L1, and L2 plates. The other two should remain in central and not participate in any of the fights until later.
Once the encounter starts, some Thrall with four Taken Knights will be spawned. After defeating them, Oryx will move either left or right and hit a plate to start the construction phase where Light-Eater Ogres will crawl up from the ground.
Once you defeat an Ogre, for instance, the R2 Ogre, a Light-Eater Knight will spawn on the L2 plate. Do not switch sides, and let the player that was assigned for the L2 plate, take care of the Knight.
After you have defeated both Knights and Ogres, you can claim the Brand of Immortality, and in this phase, you can deal damage to Oryx himself. Until the final phase, you and other players have to repeat the same thing.
Once you’ve dealt enough damage, Oryx will move back to the end of the room, where he was originally spawned. In here, two more Light-Eater Ogres will be spawned, and after defeating them, two Light-Eater Knights as well.
This is where the two-player who didn’t take place in the fighting of the first phase, should step up and defeat the two Ogres and then the Knights. At this time, the other four players should focus on Oryx himself.
