Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that many parts of World of Warcraft, including the Shadowlands expansion, are part of a living, breathing world. Azeroth’s inhabitants have tough lives full of fights for survival, and there are times when all they want is to just sit down and throw back a few. Blizzard is keenly aware of this, and you’ll get to hop across the realms during the Kirin Tor Tavern Crawl. Let’s get you set up to destroy your liver while gaining some fun stat buffs at the same time.
In the new version of Dalarn that came out during the Legion expansion, you’ll need to find Tipsi Wobblerune or Anebria Sunwinehanging hanging out near the Alliance or Horde inn. When you talk to the mage, you’ll get whisked away to a random tavern somewhere in World of Warcraft. Half the fun is not knowing where you’ll end up next. During each of your visits, you can find a special food item and a drink, boosting one of your secondary stats by 300. The drinks can cause random effects, lasting for 30 seconds.
Each tavern has scattered items you can interact with, like the self-explanatory S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera and a Discarded Package containing a Tavern Finery hat. When you’re ready to move to the next tavern, look for Tipsi/Anebria to announce Last Call, and use the portal to continue your drunken escapades elsewhere. If you’re having trouble seeing with all of the alcohol swimming through your character’s system, buy some coffee from the food and drink vendor to lighten the effects.
