Hitman 3’s redacted challenges can sometimes be frustrating because they can be the most simple tasks locked off from you, with the only hint being what you can glean from the picture in the menu. The Poison Ivy feat doesn’t take much to complete, with only a couple of items needing to be found close to everything else. Here is how to complete the Poison Ivy redacted feat challenge in Hitman 3’s level Dartmoor.
To start, if you can equip a lockpick when you load into Dartmoor, that will make things really simple. We need to break into the greenhouse in the mansion’s backyard, and the lockpick is the easiest and fastest way to do this. If you don’t have a lockpick, you can grab the crowbar near the green van at the mansion’s back door.
If you go about this route, you will need to be more discreet when you enter, as anyone in the general vicinity will look at you suspiciously and follow you inside. If you have the detective disguise on, you can walk in here freely, but any other outfit will cause suspicion if anyone sees you through the glass.
Inside the greenhouse is distillation equipment that can convert emetic poison into lethal poison and was used to kill Zachary Carlisle. At the moment, the equipment is broken, though, so we need to fix it by grabbing a wrench on the backside of the nearby fountain. Return to the equipment to fix it.
Now that everything is back in working order, there are two ways you can go about completing the Poison Ivy challenge. You can pick the flowers to the left of the equipment that is an emetic poison, or you can let Emma Carlisle do it by following this Another Death in the Family guide for another redacted challenge that will reward you with even more mastery points. Regardless of what you do, once the equipment is fixed and makes some lethal poison for someone, you will unlock the 1,000 points for the Poison Ivy challenge.
