In Destiny 2‘s latest dungeon, The Spire Ascent in Spire of the Watcher, we’ll be completing it by heading to Mars to take care of some Vex enemies in a Seraph facility. This dungeon is shorter than most you will experience in the game, having only 3 main encounters, and will take much less time than the others. However, dungeons aren’t always the easiest, and sometimes they require a bit of work to figure out all of the correct steps. Destiny 2: How to Complete The Spire Ascent in Spire of the Watcher

Once you’ve completed the jumping puzzle in the bottom of The Spire, you’ll begin your journey through the Tower.

  • Encounter #1
  • The first encounter in The Spire of the Watcher can be found in the Ares Spire Zone
  • When you enter the abandoned room in the center of the area, rally the flag and hop out the window on the righthand side of the room that leads to the platforms outside of the Tower
  • Be sure to pay attention to the location of the yellow cables that connect the rectangular nodes that are scattered around out there and hidden
  • Locate the platform that has a Minotaur on top of it with a Void Shield
  • Kill the Minotaur, and it will drop a white pool that you’ll be able to stand in, which will give you the Arctrician buff, lasting for 30 seconds
  • During the time when you have the Arctrician buff active, you’ll have to shoot all of the rectangular nodes that the yellow cables are connected to
  • Each node that you shoot will extend your timer and power the node
  • You will need to shoot and power up every node on this level so that you can activate the anti-gravity life that takes you to the next floor
  • During this time, a bunch of enemies will spawn, so take them out without losing your buff and make sure you power up the anti-gravity lift
  • Once you make it to the second level, you’ll have to follow the same pattern, but there is an added threat: moving arc currents
  • avoid walking through these currents and finish the same pattern you did for the first floor, assigning one fireteam member to take out the enemies while the other two fireteam members focus on powering up the nodes to get to the third level.
  • Once you make it to the third level, everything will be the same, except the platforms and nodes will be more spaced out, so you’ll have to hurry a bit more.

Once you’ve powered up all the nodes on the third level, you will have completed the encounter, and you’ll be able to collect the chest that appears.
