Pravoka Seagrot in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy houses many Pirates, Sahagins, Spiders, and Bats. Once players reach Captain Bikke, a character from the first Final Fantasy game, they will hopefully have a few Jobs leveled up. White Mage is useful for every fight, but players can manage without it all the same. This is how to defeat Captain Bikke in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.

Stranger of Paradise Captain Bikke Boss Fight

Captain Bikke was originally a character in the first Final Fantasy game, now in the way of the protagonists of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. The boss fight has Bikke summon additional Pirates for the player to fight every so often with the Rush and Assist command. These are good moments to get damage in, but the boss can retaliate with several high damaging moves.

Unblockable Attacks

Captain Bikke possesses two unblockable attacks in Furious Blow and Yo Ho Ho! that must be dodged. Furious Blow has a long windup, making it easy to avoid and punish as the player can keep attacking Bikke from behind. Yo Ho Ho! is a grab that the boss will stay locked in the animation for if he grabs an Ally.

Area-of-Effect Attacks

Captain Bikke’s wider attacks involve throwing a Molotov to deal Fire damage and two spinning attacks. Both of these weapon attacks have a long windup so players can get out of the way easily, and attack the boss after the animation is over. Double Swing and Spin can be blocked but can Break players, leaving them open to attacks as they are immobilized.

Overhead Attacks

Starfall is an overhead slam attack that will deal Elemental Damage to the player. Blocking against the attack will still deal damage unless it is with the Soul Shield. Ground Pound, on the other hand, has a slightly shorter range and can be easily dodged in any direction. Both of these attacks can be completely avoided by simply going behind Captain Bikke.

Other Attacks

Among the other attacks of Captain Bikke, only the Brutal Tackle does a large amount of damage. He has a few charge attacks and a Tomahawk move involving him throwing his weapon like a boomerang, but these do fairly little damage in comparison. Brutal Tackle will hurt a lot if players get caught up in it, but a well timed Soul Shield can negate damage long enough for an easy dodge.

If players have White Mage unlocked, the Protect or Protectga spell will help significantly for this fight.
