Aloy will face a range of machines in Horizon Forbidden West, and players will need to know how to defeat them to harvest materials and resources. The Redeye Watcher is one of the Recon class machines Aloy will meet early on in Forbidden West. These small machines alert their allies after spotting Aloy but are easy enough to defeat when isolated.
In Horizon Forbidden West, every machine has specific weak points and is often vulnerable to special elemental damage. A Redeye Watcher is a small Recon machine with one essential weak point, its red eye. Players can potentially eliminate this machine with a single shot by striking its red eye with high-damage arrows.
Redeye Watchers are also weak against Shock-damage attacks but resist Fire and Plasma-damage attacks. The following components are available after defeating a Redeye Watcher:
