One of the new bounties introduced to Destiny 2 for the Guardian Games is the Keeping Watch bounty. To complete the bounty, you need to finish a Survey Patrol in any of the game’s patrol zones. This means any destination that will offer you patrols while you explore, like Titan, Io, or Mars.

The first thing you will need to do is find a Survey Patrol. The symbol you will be looking for looks like a compass, as shown in the image below.

Interact with it to start the patrol, and a waypoint will appear on the screen showing you where to go. These patrols normally lead to some form of vista in a nearby segment of the map, and you will need to “survey” it.

To do this, you just stand there looking at it. That’s it. A percentage meter will appear in the top left of the screen, and when it hits 100 percent, the patrol is complete. The percentage will only increase when you are looking in the right direction; if you start shooting enemies behind you, it will no longer go up, so keep that in mind.

It’s a very easy bounty to finish up, as you only need to do this once. To wrap it up nice and quickly, head to the Outskirts on the EDZ, and you can find a Survey Patrol near the central courtyard area where the Public Events take place.

If you need some help tracking down Combat Patrols, we have a useful guide for those as well.
