Because Pokémon Go Fest 2020 attendees were able to complete eight of the 32 global challenges at the event, Pokémon Go fans everywhere were able to unlock Dragon Week as an Ultra Unlock. There are three Ultra Unlock weeks, and the first one is Dragon Week, featuring the Dragon-type Pokémon, the most elusive and difficult to capture in the game. The weekly event also comes with a timed research task that if you complete it before the end of the week you will have the chance to capture two Deinos.

The Dragon Week tasks don’t launch in the game until on July 31 at 1 pm PT. Normally, research tasks for special events launch in New Zealand ahead of time, giving trainers all over the world a better idea of what to expect when it unlocks for them. However, for Dragon Week, players will not learn about these tasks until it all becomes available at the same time.
