The iconic battle bus is known for being the spawn drop spot, but players can also find it on the map in the two different locations now. This Armored version of the Battle Bus was added by vote from the players and is now a deadly driveable vehicle in the game. Not only is it covered by armor, but it also has a Cow Catcher plow equipped to it, Chonker off-road tires, and turrets. Here’s how you can drive one for yourself!
Armored Battle Bus Locations
- Southeast of Sanctuary South of Synapse Station
Enter the Battle Bus
Once you locate one of the Armored Buses, you can enter the vehicle by holding the usual enter and exit button. On a PC, it is E, and on a controller, it will be square or X. Handling the bus is similar to any other vehicle, but it’s a lot slower than a car considering its weight and size.
Boost in the Battle Bus
The Battle Bus also has boost capabilities like a lot of other vehicles. You will hold circle or B on a controller and the left Shift button on a PC to boost. This gives the bus a sudden burst of speed and is useful for approaching enemies, ramming through obstacles, or making a quick escape.
Plow through obstacles
The Armored Bus is also equipped with a Cow Catcher mod on its front. This plow-like attachment allows you to ram through any obstacle with ease. You will demolish anything in your path. You can drive straight through a building without damaging your vehicle, destroying walls, and any other furniture that might be within.
Enter the turrets
There are two heavy-duty turrets located on the top of the bus. These are great for an entire squad of players, allowing two players to man the turrets while another drives. To switch over to a turret, you will press the left CTRL button on your PC or right stick in on a controller.
Fire turrets
The Battle Bus turrets deal significant damage to any target. If both turrets are simultaneously utilized, you have substantial control against incoming enemies within your radius with hard-hitting damage and quick-firing abilities. You will press the usual firing button, M1 on PC, and the right trigger on the controller to fire a turret.
