Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduces a fun new way to buy interesting furniture, snazzy new outfits, and other premium miscellany: Nook Miles. Tom Nook introduces you to Nook Mileage early in the game, but you’ll never stop working towards these goals.
Instead of a boring achievements list, our favorite tanuki raccoon offers us the chance to earn Nook Miles by completing specific goals. As you progress through your normal daily life on your island, your NookPhone will ring every so often, letting you know you’ve completed a secret goal. While some of these awards require you to complete a simple task, like talking to all of your neighbors in one day, many of them reward consistent, long-term gameplay, like planting several hundred flowers.
