The Carian Study Hall is one of the dungeons players can find within Elden Ring’s Liurnia of the Lake territory. While finding it isn’t too hard, unlocking it is a bit of a different story. Players will need to both unlock the area and invert it, in order to properly traverse the area.
How to unlock the Carian Study Hall
In order to unlock the Carian Study Hall, players will need to defeat Rennala of the Full Moon at the Raya Lucaria Academy. Once players have defeated her, they can find the empty altar just inside past the sorcerer. This altar will require a specific item to invert the Carian Study Hall.
How to invert the Carian Study Hall
Players will need the Carian Inverted Statue to place on this altar. Doing so will invert the study hall. To get this statue, there is a sort of quest that players will need to complete. This quest does not have a name, as it is more of an errand than anything.
Head to the city of Nokron and acquire the Finger Slayer Blade, then return to Ranni. They will gift the player the Carian Inverted Statue. Players can also choose to complete Ranni’s Quest if they wish, but it isn’t necessary to gain the inverted statue. Bring the statue to the altar and place it there to invert the Carian Study Hall and properly roam the area.
